Purpose:

To put together Braille Portals of Prayer devotion booklets for the blind.

Our Portals of Prayer Braille Devotion Books are an important outreach to those in need.  It is a blessing to all who use the books and rewarding for those who make them to know the blessing they are giving to the blind.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with assigned group to put together the books which include:
  • Punching holes into pages for binding
  • Numbering pages
  • Placing papers in the metal printing plates
  • Feeding plates through press
  • Pulling out pages and putting in order
  • Binding books

Time involved:

Group meets one time a month—usually a two hour time period.
