Purpose:

To provide materials for indigent (home-bound) cancer patients, such as comfort pillows, lap robes, slippers and stoma bibs. Offers a community service and fellowship for those in the group.

Responsibilities:

*Collecting materials

*Sew and assemble materials

*Take finished items to the Cancer Society

*Keep volunteers informed of needs and meeting ties

*A potluck lunch is also served at each meeting. You are invited to bring a dish to the meeting each month.

Time involved:

One meeting the second Tuesday of each month.  Work may also be done at home such as knitting and sewing.
