Purpose:

To provide services that enhances the well-being of the handicapped residents. These volunteers provide community outreach and show how Messiah makes a difference outside of the church’s walls.  As a group we have a great fellowship with our own members and other volunteers there.

Responsibilities:

*Travel to Denton State School on the 4^th Wednesday of the month

*Help with various tasks, including mailings (signing letters, addressing envelopes, arts and crafts ad sorting clothes for sales)

*A covered dish luncheon is held each time.

*Optional-help with the driving occasionally

Time involved:

7 hours, 8 or 9 times a year; 4^th Wednesday of the month; 8:30am to 3pm
