Purpose:

To provide costumes for drama done at Messiah.

Helps create the effect needed for the drama participants to share their message.

Responsibilities:

• Fit drama participants for their costumes
• Purchase material (keeping receipts for reimbursement)
• Design or purchase pattern/s for costume/s
• Sew and create the costume/s
• After costume/s is made give to participate; double-checking to make sure it is okay.
• Sometimes needed to be there for actual service to make sure that everything is in place.

Time involved:

Varied; depends on number of costumes needed and length of time it takes to sew.  Usually 2 fitting sessions are needed.  Also may be needed at dress rehearsal and worship service.

Exodus 35:31,35 and he filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts.  He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as craftsmen, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers-all of them master craftsmen and designers.
