Purpose:

To provide choral music to enhance Messiah’s Worship Services.  The choir sings specially chosen music to enhance the message for the scheduled service.  Their music adds praise and joy to the Worship Services.

Responsibilities:

*Attend weekly practice.

*Sing during the scheduled Worship Services.

*Sing for the Tenebrae Service on Good Friday, on Easter Sunday and the Choral Advent Service on the last Wednesday in Advent.

Time involved:

Tuesday practices each week – 7:00 to 8:15pm.  Before the Easter Pageant there are two longer practices-one is the dress rehearsal on the Saturday of Holy Week.  The choir usually sings one Sunday each month in early and late service.
