Purpose:

To create the backdrop and props needed for the drama performances.

Helps create the effect needed for the dramatic performance.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with the Director to decide what is needed for scenery and props.
• Buy the material for the sets and props as needed.
• Design, build, paint, and put together all sets and scenery
• Attend any rehearsals as needed, but specifically the dress rehearsal and performance to make sure all is set up properly and all props are in their place as needed.

Time involved:

Varied; depends on size of production. Rehearsals generally last an hour and performances are during 1 to 2 worship services.
