Purpose:

To deliver flowers to our members who are suffering or experiencing a loss in their life and to encourage them in their faith.  It is so important to take the time to lift up our members when they are going through the hard ties of life.

Responsibilities:

*To pick up the flowers after church on Sunday and deliver them to the members assigned for that week, taking the time to visit with these members and bringing them a little “sunshine” in the midst of the trials they are facing.

Varies depending on the schedule. Usually once every two months

Proverbs 12:25  An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up.

1 Thessalonians 5:11  Therefore encourage one another and build each other up just as in fact you are doing.

Romans 12:10-13  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourselves.  Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Share with God’s people who are in need.  Practice hospitality.
