Lambs Early Childhood School

Dedicated to helping children know and feel the love of Jesus Christ, develop Christian morals and values, and explore God’s creation through the principles of reading, writing, and math.

Messiah Lutheran Lambs is a non-profit, Lutheran Early Childhood School that was founded in 1961.  We enroll children ages six weeks through Kindergarten.  We follow a modified Richardson/Plano school district calendar which includes a school year that runs from August through May.  In November 2003 we moved from our location in Richardson to a brand new building in Plano – we would love to have you stop by for a visit!

What a joy it is for us to be able to offer educational opportunities for your children!  It is very important that our children learn to know and feel the love of Jesus Christ, as well as to develop Christian morals and values, while they are young.  This is what we plan to provide for you through our Early Childhood Development programs, in addition to learning the principles of reading, writing, and math.

Our School

In bringing your children to Messiah’s Early Childhood School you are indeed bringing them to the Lord Himself. Through love and care and capable teaching, we hope all God’s children who come through our doors will grow to know how special each of us is to our God and Lord.

How are we connected to Messiah Lutheran Church?

Messiah Lambs is a ministry of Messiah Lutheran Church. Messiah Lutheran Church is dedicated to making a difference through a life-giving Messiah and as part of that mission, we strive to equip families for living Christ-centered lives in the midst of a changing world.

The Lambs program is one element of that, but there are many other ways we may be able to help your family grow closer to God and each other. Click here to learn more about the fellowship groups listed below as well as many others:

  • Growing Marriages in Christ (GMC) – a group aimed at couples with young children that gathers for both Bible study and fellowship.
  • Mom’s Group – focused on helping new moms, serving, and monthly fellowship events.
  • Girlfriends Unlimited – a name used for a consortium of women’s groups that gather around things like books, movies, scrapbooking, and more. They also come together for special relaxation and spiritual retreat days.
  • Messiah has an active Children’s Ministry that includes Sunday School, VBS, and other events and programming all year. Click here to find out more.

If you’d like to learn more about the church, please feel free to browse our website from the home page, check out a recent worship service.
