New to Messiah

Welcome!

A Note from our Senior Pastor:

On behalf of our Christian family at Messiah Lutheran Church, I invite you to become part of the love, fellowship, and excitement of belonging to God’s family of believers in Jesus Christ who serve the Lord in all we do.

Here at Messiah, we enjoy the love and care of Jesus Christ, practical and relevant teaching from God’s Word, inspiring music, quality nursery care, and encouragement for all ages.

Our goal is to share God’s Light, right here in our North Dallas communities. YOU can make a difference through Messiah Lutheran Church, and WE want to make a difference in your life.

Pastor Kollmann

Discover how God has a place for you at Messiah Lutheran Church!  Come and G.L.O.W. (link to detailed information about G.L.O.W.) with us!

Messiah Lutheran Church extends a welcome to you to become a member of our church. Membership in Messiah is made possible in various ways:

1) BAPTISM: Messiah believes in our Lord’s command to baptize all nations, and so it extends to all infants, children, youth, and adults the Sacrament of Baptism.

2) TRANSFER: Messiah will accept the transfer of your membership from another Lutheran church.

3) CONFIRMATION: Messiah invites those who are looking for a church home to participate in our Adult Information Class. After completing this 4 week course, you may choose the Rite of Confirmation to become a member.  Classes are offered periodically throughout the year.  Call the church office to find out when the next class begins.

ADULT INFORMATION CLASS– If you are interested in the Adult Information Class, which teaches the basic doctrines of the Christian faith, please contact the church office at 972-398-7500. This class is open to members as well as non-members of our church! Even if you are grounded in the Lutheran faith, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to get to know Pastor Kollmann, and learn more about being a member of Messiah.

Come experience Messiah’s worship. Get a feel for what we look and sound like. Review a song or sermon. To see last week’s sermon click here.
