The mission of GMC is to share in Christian fellowship and the study of God’s word with other married couples, to actively engage in prayer, and to provide a supportive and caring place to nurture our relationships with God, our spouse, and other couples.
GMC is composed of married couples (approximately between ages 25 - 45) with or without small children. The activities of the group include Sunday morning Bible class and bi-monthly social events. Social events are a mix of “couples only” and “family friendly” events.

Older adults can enjoy a wide range of opportunities for fellowship with this active group. There are regularly planned outings, both to area points of interest and restaurants as well as the occasional road trip. In addition to these, many of our older adults are ative in service groups and leadership positions within the church. A newsletter to all members 55 and older keeps our membership informed of upcoming events and opportunities to serve.

Frontliners
The mission of Frontliners is to bring young adults aged 22-30(ish) together in Christ-centered relationships and fun. At the core this means gathering around Scripture regularly and learning how its lessons and wisdom apply to the realities of everyday life like jobs, relationships, families, and friends. In order to live this mission out, we gather every Sunday morning for Bible study and also regularly have activities to build each other and our relationships up- everything from cookouts to our annual pool party.

Mom’s Support Group
The Messiah Lutheran Church Mom's Group consists of Mom's with children ranging in age from newborn to about six years of age. We meet monthly, doing a variety of activities ranging from dinner out to a scrapbook night to speakers. We also host the Easter Egg Hunt and a Baby Shower for all the new Mom's from the previous year. We also do meals for new Mom's in the congregation and a service project during the year.

Girlfriends Unlimited
Looking for a place to relax, laugh and meet new people? If so, Girlfriends Unlimited is for you! This is a brand NEW group at Messiah Lutheran Church seeking to involve women of all ages. Through Girlfriends Unlimited, we offer fun events, special interest groups (chick flicks, books, etc) and opportunities to grow in your faith. Join our fun-filled group. You'll never think of church in the same way again!

Metroplex Singles
Messiah Lutheran's single ministry is open to all singles (Never married, Divorced, Divorced with children, Widowed) of all ages. There are numerous opportunities to participate in faith enriching experiences along with other singles from around the area. Past events have included Bible studies, swim parties, brunches, the arboretum, and Christian concernts. There are also opportunities for personal growth provided through divorce recovery seminars and service projects. The goal is that events always help you build friendships with others through Christian fellowship.

Lutheran Adult Fellowship (LAF)
LAF is for adults from ages 35 and older although no one younger than 35 is ever turned away! They plan around 6 activities a year like Valentine or Progressive Dinners, Bunco, Bingo, and Chili Parties, Baseball Games, Ice Cream Socials, or Good-Time Barbecues. You are guaranteed to meet some great people and have fun at these events.

Investment Clubs
There are two Investment Clubs at Messiah:
Messiah Investment Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm.
Faithful Investment Club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00
pm. The members research stocks to purchase for the club's portfolio. Research sources include "Value Line", "Standard & Poor's and guidelines from the National Association of Investment Clubs.

Dining Out Club: Every month 25-30 members of all ages and family types gather together at a local restaurant for dinner. Every month is different. This is one of the easiest ways to get to know a great group of Messiah members. Watch the bulletins, Messenger, and events portion of the website for upcoming outings.
Pinochle Club: This group gets together on two Fridays a month to play cards. Call the church office for the next date.
Messiah Dinner and a Movie Night: Every month a group gathers for a potluck dinner and a classic movie from the 1930s-60s. There is no charge for this event. Hosted by Chuck and Ellen Thorne. Call Ellen or the church office for details.
