Ongoing Activites

MYM (Messiah Youth Ministry)  – Sunday Nights, 5:00-7:00 PM for grades 5-12

InDepth – Tuesday Nights, 7:30-8:30 PM for grades 9-12

MESH – Wednesday Nights, 7:00-8:30 PM for grades 9-12

Coming Soon!

Guys Paintball Outing- An event planned just for the guys.  Grades 9-12 will go decorate each other Aug. 14th from noon-7pm.

Girls Night In- A night to hang out with chick flicks, games, facials, you name-it.  We'll also have a great speaker coming to give us food for thought as we discuss relationships and making faithful choices.  Friday, Aug. 20th, from 8 pm to 8 am for Grades 9-12.

MESH and InDepth are gearing up again.  The first MESH is Aug. 25th and the first InDepth is Tues. Aug. 31st.  Just a note for our InDepth crowds.  Notice that the new time is 7:30-8:30 pm, still at the Wolkensteins.

Style Your Sole is coming up on Aug. 18th.  If you bought Toms to go all artistic on we're getting together at 7 pm in the youth room.

Confirmation Program

Messiah approaches confirmation in a unique way.   We ask that our youth come to Bible Class on Sunday mornings for regular strengthening in the Word.  Rather than adding to that a weekly confirmation class, we've created a camp experience.  Every summer we gather our students who are entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, and we take them to Camp Briarwood, where we run a Confirmation Camp for four days.  During this time, our students do devotions together, worship and praise God, spend serious time with our leaders studying his word and the Catechism, do service projects, crafts, games, eat, laugh, and grow together.    In addition to our 6th-8th graders, each year we have senior high youth who volunteer to come as servants to help mentor our younger students, while serving in various capacities throughout the camp.  We've found that this time as campers and as servants is often one of the best memories our youth carry with them.
