Upward Sports

• Early Registration Oct 1 – Jan 9 is $120
• Fees include:
  • Basketball Uniform with Shorts
  • 11 weekly Practices
  • 8 Saturday Games
  • Awards Celebration

Payment:

• $120 per player, with $10 discount for each additional sibling, will be collected, and entered by an MLC Upward Administrator once it is determined that sufficient Covid Safety can be provided, and enough players have registered to support league play

Masks & Social Distancing:

• Coaches, fans and athletes on the bench MUST wear masks at games and practices
• Fans are expected to maintain Social Distancing
• No concession stand.
• Sanitizer dispensers will be present at all high touch areas

Evaluations & Uniform Sizing:

• Conducted at the first Team Practice
• Uniform sizing will be by visual only – no one can try uniforms on
• Coaches will fill out Evaluation Forms and Uniform sizing
  • Submitted to the present MLC Upward Administrator for data entry

Practices:

• MLC will provide all Basketballs, which will be sanitized before and after each practice
  • No one is allowed to bring their own ball
• Players are responsible for bringing their own water. No drinking fountain use.
• 30 minutes will be scheduled between practices to allow time for sanitization
• Practice attendees can NOT enter the building until 10 minutes prior to their practice time
  • This is to limit cross traffic
• Only 1 fan per player is allowed in the gym during practice

Games:  

• MLC will provide all Basketballs, which will be sanitized before and after each Game
  • No one is allowed to bring their own ball or arrive early
• We will use shoulder match-up tags instead of wristbands
• Players are responsible for bringing their own water. No drinking fountain use
• 30 minutes will be scheduled between Games to allow time for sanitization
• Game attendees can NOT enter the building until 10 minutes prior to their game
  • This is to limit cross traffic
• Only 2 fans per player are allowed in the gym for games

Post Game:

• There will be no after-game gathering
  • Game critiques, lessons, and star distribution will be incorporated into practices
• No post-game snack
• Sanitation of gym seating will be completed after each game by event staff.
